How Did Bill Strickler Win The Primetime Last Year? See Here

We just analyzed Steve Luzzi's winning NFFC Classic team, so let's do the same thing and analyze Bill Strickler's dominating NFFC Primetime team from 2009. Here's Bill's team, drafting first in Phone/Online League #4:

1. Adrian Peterson
2. Wes Welker
3. Vincent Jackson
4. Reggie Bush
5. Donovan McNabb
6. Dallas Clark
7. Bernard Berrian
8. Chester Taylor
9. Kellen Winslow
10. Pittsburgh Defense
11. Willis McGahee
12. Jamal Charles
13. Eli Manning
14. Jeremy Maclin
15. Chansi Stuckey
16. Green Bay Defense
17. Mike Goodson
18. Rob Bironas
19. Michael Vick
20. Michael Crabtree

This was a solid, solid draft by Bill. He also picked up Jerome Harrison in Week 2 and Miles Austin the week before he lit up the Chiefs for $57. That sealed the deal there.

Bill entered the Championship Round 12th in total points, but quickly went into the lead as he led the way in Week 14 with 213.85 points. He then posted 177.0 and 177.2 points in Weeks 15 and 16, respectively, to win going away. Last year the first place check was worth $40,000.

Ironically, Bill didn't even win his league title as he finished second in points and h2h record. But he more than made up for that in the Championship Round as he now returns for a chance to defend his Primetime title. Great job Bill and good luck again this year.

That's a very good draft. Some terrific late-round values - especially Charles, Maclin and Crabtree. Getting Austin and Harrison off the WW was a golden move too. Great work last year champ.
